It was truly rewarding to see Scouting out in the community, engaging families, and kicking off the spring recruiting season in a big way. This is how we grow — and you all showed up strong!

Friends of Scouting — 72.2% and Climbing!
We are absolutely crushing it in the Friends of Scouting world — sitting at 72.2% of our goal!
Shout-out to Troop 448 for an awesome Court of Honor Tuesday night!… One of biggest donating units so far!
Let’s keep pushing to the finish — we are a small but mighty district!

District Camporee: April 17–19 Theme: Olympics — Competition + Camaraderie
Registration is officially open!
Please ensure your troop registers soon to guarantee patches. (Delivered After Camporee to ensure they don’t get lost during all the activities)
This year’s Camporee is shaping up to be one of our best yet, combining fun competition, teamwork, and Olympic spirit across all events.
Camporee Work Day — April 12
On April 12, we will be hosting a Camporee Work Day throughout the dstrict where we will:
- Assemble prize baskets
- Prepare medals
- Clean out the storage unit
- Handle general prep for Camporee weekend
I will be sending a separate email to all Troop and Crew leadership with specific timing and logistics. I will also have handouts and leaders guide ready at round table!
Summer Kickoff — May 2
The summer is right around the corner, and we want to help your unit kick it off with a BANG!
Saturday, May 2 Frank Fickett Scout Training and Service Center
Start your day by volunteering at Trash the Trash Day at Walnut Creek Park, then head over to the Fickett Center for:

- Info on the 2026 Popcorn Sale
- Fall Recruitment Plans
