April 11 – Zilker Kite Festival (Color Guard Opportunity)
April 12 – Camporee Work Day (All Day)
April 17–19 – Thunderbird District Camporee
May 2 – CAC Summer Kickoff @ Fickett Center

Zilker Kite Festival — Color Guard Opportunity

Saturday, April 11
Zilker Park

Troop 256 will lead the color guard, but all units are welcome to participate!

Meet at Tony Burger Center shuttle stop by 11:30 AM
Run-through at 12:30 PM
Flags presented at 1:00 PM

This is a huge community event and a great opportunity to represent Scouting in front of thousands.

Full uniform requested
Units should bring their unit flags (Troop 256 will provide U.S. & Texas flags)

Camporee Work Day — April 12

We are getting close, and it’s time to bring it all together!

On April 12, we will be hosting our Camporee Work Day where we will:

Assemble prize baskets
Prep medals
Clean out the storage unit
Finalize logistics for Camporee weekend
