Join Girl Troops 4443, 19 and 50 to eat “Walking Sundaes”, learn about our adventures in Scouting America (formerly Scouts BSA) and how to join a troop.

BSA Troop 4443 is on the lookout for spirited and adventurous girls to join our patrols! If you’re a parent searching for an empowering and enriching experience for your daughter, look no further. We are a vibrant community of young leaders who embrace challenges, build friendships, and explore the great outdoors together. We believe in fostering character while providing opportunities for personal growth and learning scouting skills.

Meetings:
AOL and other girls 11-17 are welcome to visit Troop 4443 at any of our troop meetings. Here is a list of our upcoming meetings:
Sept 7: Pioneering Lashing Relay, Blindfolded Tent setup and a visit from Sea Scout Ship 4
Sept 14: We will be doing “realistic” first aid and practicing our first aid demos for Bee Cave District Webelos Woods
Sept 21 is our Fall Court of Honor and Sept 28 is our annual planning meeting.
Oct 5: We will be doing an Orienteering course. Prior to the meeting we will be having leadership training and a Patrol Leaders Council, but visitors should still arrive at 6 pm
Oct 12: This meeting isn’t planned yet

Events:
Oct 19 5:30-7:30pm: Recruiting Ice Cream Social at the Community Center. We will host an ice cream social with “walking sundaes” on Oct 19. We will invite other local girls units and we will send out more information closer to the event.
Nov 2 6-7:30pm: Troop Halloween Party at the Travis Community Center. AOLs and other girls 11-17 are invited to join us for our annual Halloween party. Scouts will plan this event in October, details to follow. In previous years, we have decorated cookies, had a costume contest and a gift exchange.
Dec 6: We will visit the Edwards Aquifer Education and Outreach Center. We will go on a short nature hike, learn about conservation and the Edwards Aquifer and have lunch. We will depart from the Community Center at 8:30 am and plan to return in the early afternoon.
