Our council is working to secure space at Barton Creek Square and Lakeline Malls on Saturday, August 8, to promote upcoming Join Scouting Night events and our Speedfest celebration. Our plan will be to set up two Pinewood Derby tracks at each mall so that families walking by can try racing a Pinewood Derby car and learn about Scouting. While we are still nailing down the details here, we would love to hear from packs willing to provide and staff a track as well as troops, crews, and ships who can help pass out information and answer families’ questions.
