Come camp with Troop 505 on November 14 to 16 at Emma Long Park. Our Scouts love playing Capture the Flag with the AOL so much they are planning their third annual Epic Capture the Flag Campout! It’s truly a weekend of fun, friendship, and good food.

Participating in a campout is the best way to learn about a troop: their values, their methods, and their youth-led style. How often do youth lean in on each other? What happens when the stove doesn’t work? How do youth exhibit the Oath and Law in their small interactions together?

Parents, bring a comfy chair because you’ll be joining the adult patrol for the weekend. In BSA our Scout patrols self-monitor and run their own activities, so we spend a lot of time sitting. 🙂
