Loren Tarnow, Committee Chair for Troop 256, is working on a Thunderbird Cub Campfire for November!
The goal is to host a Sunday evening campfire for Thunderbird Cub Scouts and bring together as many of our district units as possible. This will be a fun opportunity for our Cub Scouts, but it will also give troops a chance to mingle with Cub Scouts and families, build relationships, and recruit for their units!
Scouts who help with the event will also have an opportunity to earn approximately 3–4 service hours.
How You Can Help
Loren has put together a Google Doc where you can:
- Contribute ideas for the campfire
- Sign up to volunteer
- Help with planning
- Get your unit involved
- Spread the word to other Scouts and unit leaders

As planning continues, we may also schedule a quick virtual meeting to get everyone on the same page and finalize details.
