It’s truly a weekend of fun\, friendship\, and good food.\n\nParticipating in a campout is the best way to learn about a troop: their values\, their methods\, and their youth-led style. How often do youth lean in on each other? What happens when the stove doesn’t work? How do youth exhibit the Oath and Law in their small interactions together?\n\nParents\, bring a comfy chair because you’ll be joining the adult patrol for the weekend. DESCRIPTION:Where: Smilin V Scout Ranch \nWhen: Sept 27st\, 2025.  Check in opens at 8:30 and activities begin at 9am.  Event runs until 3:45pm. \nWhat: During this event youth will launch rockets of different types\, build and fly their own kite\, have time at the BB and Archery ranges and complete Champions of Nature Cub Adventures.  Participants should bring a sack lunch. \nHow Much: $20 per youth participant/ $5 for each parent/caring adult \nWhen can I register: Registration opens July 1\, 2025 \nFor full information and registration see here.

SUMMARY:STEM Adventure Weekend
DESCRIPTION:Scouts BSA and older youth (Venturers\, Sea Scouts\, Explorers) may attend STEM Adventure Weekend with their units or with their BSA-registered parent/guardian. No lone scouts.\nLocation: Lost Pines Scout Reservation  (Directions: Google | Yahoo)\nClasses are Saturday morning\, afternoon\, and Sunday morning.\nFour meals are provided: Saturday breakfast\, lunch\, and dinner\, and Sunday breakfast\nSaturday evening includes climbing and a star party weather permitting.\nScouts may sign up for up to three STEM classes and enjoy free-time STEM activities Saturday evening. Classes include merit badges and Nova or Cosmic Awards. Classes are selected via on the online registration form. After registering\, you may change classes online or at event check-in as long as the class has space.\nCheck in will begin at 6:00PM on Friday\, September 19.  Classes will conclude on Sunday\, September 21 at noon.\n\nFor full information and registration see here.
