Join us.\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nThe Scouts of Troop 505 have a great morning\nplanned for your scouts.\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nOur 1/2 Day Adventure is an opportunity for Webelos and AOL scouts to learn scouting skills and get to know Troop 505. Once you know us\, we know you will want to join us. \nEven if you have already had the opportunity to attend one of our other events\, come to this one as well – we are always doing something new.\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nAX \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nScouts will learn about ax yard safety from a 505 scout. He will teach them about the ax yard and demonstrates how to prepare wood for a camp fire. \nWe will follow all BSA safety requirements. Webelos & AOLs will not be using an ax.\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nFire \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nScouts will then learn about fire safety\, earn their Firem’n Chit and learn how to build a camp fire. \nThere will be a fire building competition for them to be able to practice and show what they have learned.\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nFood \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nScouts will make their own Woofum Stick and then make their own woofum. \n505 Scouts prefer woofums to s’more and want to introduce your scout to this troop favorite. \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nHaven’t heard of woofums before? This epic game of Capture the Flag will challenge all their skills\, and they are thrilled to extend an invitation to Webelos and AOL Scouts to join them. Your scouts will have the opportunity to camp and cook alongside one of our patrols\, fully immersing themselves in the games and the troop experience. They will build their scouting skills\, all while having a great time and getting to know  Troop 505. \nThere’s no better way to truly understand a troop than by camping with them. Our Epic Capture the Flag Weekend serves as a brilliant opportunity for Webelos & AOL Scouts to get a feel for Scouts BSA and Troop 505. This weekend campout introduces Webelos and their parents to camping using the patrol method.
