DESCRIPTION:Children and teens of all genders from 4th Grade to age 17\, come learn more about Scouting. Troops will show off how awesome y’all are! Families will see what it means to be Scout-led. Learn the basics of leadership\, outdoor skills\, first aid\, cooking\, life skills\, fellowship\, orienteering\, and personal management. \nVisit with the amazing scouts and witness how this program helps improve in their daily life activities. Meet the troops and learn about the camp outs\, trips\, and amazing fun they have. Coordinate with them to go camp for a weekend. \nThis event is open to all kids — even if you are not yet involved with Scouts. DESCRIPTION:This is a Day Only Event\nWEBELOS WOODS IS NOW A DAY EVENT AT DICK NICHOLS. The entire event will take place on Saturday morning\, Oct. 21 from 9 until noon. Troops may arrive at 7:30 AM to set up. Cubs arrive in time for flag ceremony at 9 AM. Each troop will have an opportunity to impress the prospective scouts and their parents\, then all are welcome to stay for snacks from noon until 1 p.m.. \nMore Information To Come\nThe Thunderbird District Webelos Woods event will take place on Saturday\, October 21\, 2003. This annual event welcomes Webelos of each year to participate. This an opportunity for Webelos to sample several troops and for troops to showcase themselves to a large and eager pool of potential recruits.  Look out for emails\, Facebook announcements and chatter about the event. Registration will open soon. \nPlease be sure every Pack and Troop has this date on your unit calendar! \n  \n
