Be a STAR -- a Scouter That Attends Roundtable!
Please note that the Roundtable and cracker barrel timing will change permanently starting with the October Roundtable meeting!
WHAT is Roundtable?
The aim of the scout Roundtable is to provide the will and the skill to do. If scout leaders have these two things, they can succeed, and they can continue succeeding. The will to do in the form of morale, inspiration, enthusiasm, and vision is distributed regularly (for the will to do is perishable). The skill to do in the form of skills, program ideas, techniques, and information is taught one piece at a time (for there is much to learn). A Roundtable is fun, practical, inspiring, fill of skills, loaded with techniques, brimming with program ideas.
WHO Should Attend Roundtable?
Rountables are designed for all scout leaders, i.e. Scoutmasters, Assistant Scoutmasters, Cubmasters, Assistant Cubmasters, Den Leaders, Webelos den leaders, unit committee members, interested parents, and all commissioners. So welcome! Please ask questions—that’s what we are here for and remember the most important thing---have fun.
WHEN and WHERE is Roundtable?
Roundtable meets the first Thursday of each month at Manchaca United Methodist Church located at FM1626 and Manchaca Road. Fellowship in the form of Cracker Barrel starts at 7:15pm and Roundtable itself at 7:30pm.

Remember—a hundred years from now it will not matter what my bank account was, the sort of house I lived in, or the kind of car I drove. But the world may be different because I was important in the life of a boy.
